In Alberta, it is the responsibility of the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC) as regulator to protect the integrity and maintain the accountability of gaming activities in Alberta, while the Provincial Ministry of Finance, through the Department of Treasury Board and Finance provides oversight and manages the Alberta Lottery Fund. Casino operations generated gaming net revenues of $1.3 billion to AGLC in 2018/19.
